8th edition of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship concludes

On December 17th, under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the eighth edition of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship concluded with exciting competitions for the six championship titles. The event concluded with enthusiasm at the Fujairah Fort area.

Dubai Stud’s horses shone with three gold medals, while the remaining titles went to Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s horses, Matar Al Ketbi, and Alian Al Hajri, each earning a gold medal.

Dubai Arabian Horse Stud was awarded the Golden Fujairah Sword for achieving the highest number of gold, silver, and bronze medals during the championship.

The closing ceremony the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship featured spectacular performances, including the Abu Dhabi Police Knights presenting the traditional “Tashooleeb” show, which captivated the audience. De Seven Horses Troupe also delivered thrilling displays showcasing remarkable skills exhibited by their trained horses.

The filly “De Asra” from Dubai Stud claimed the gold title for 2- and 3-year-olds, followed by “Malikat Al Badeer” owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi in second place, and “A.D. Bador” owned by Hamad Adnan Al Shehhi in third place.

In the Colts category for 2- and 3-year-olds, “Faiez Al Bahiya” owned by Matar Mohammed Al Ketbi secured the gold title. “Shalan Al Zubeir” owned by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani took the silver title, while “A J Razi” from Ajman Stud earned the bronze.

For the yearling fillies, “Al Aryam Harba” owned by Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan won the gold title, followed by “Rajwa Al Hawajer” owned by Hamid Ghanem Al Hajri in second place and “Raneem Al Badeer” owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi in third, both receiving silver and bronze titles, respectively.

The yearling colts’ gold title went to “De Barqan” from Dubai Stud, followed by “A J Rabdan” from Ajman Stud in second place and “Fam Apollo” owned by Federico Morales in third, earning the silver and bronze titles.

“Dey Sharbat” from Dubai Stud claimed the gold title for the Colts Championship, with “Maysam Al Hawajer” owned by Saeed Al Shamsi in second place and “Dey Mashghee” from Ras Al Khaimah Stud in third, securing the silver and bronze titles.

In the qualification rounds, “Ahl Al R Tayy” owned by Mohammed Youssef Al Rashid topped the 4-year-old and above Colts category, scoring 91.10 points. “De Sharbat” from Dubai Stud secured second place with 91.00 points, while “Stellar B.C.F” owned by Mohammed Al Haj Al Shamsi took third place with 90.90 points.

In section “B,” “Maysam Al Hawajer” owned by Saeed Al Shamsi achieved first place with 91.20 points, followed by “De Mashghee” from Ras Al Khaimah Stud with 91.10 points, and “Arjuwan Al Badeer” owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi in third place with 91.00 points.

In section “C,” the final round saw “Al Aryam Baree” from Al Aryam Stables take first place with 91.20 points, earning the Best Head award. “Al Fi A Maximus” owned by Imran Sharif Al Khouri secured second place with 91.00 points, and “De Shedad” owned by Saeed Obaid Al Rashidi claimed third place with 90.90 points.
