  1. Hello,
We are grateful that the Fujairah Observer included news about Nature Photography Day in 2021. Would you please help us spread the word this year, too?
Our annual celebration, June 15, is on a Wednesday this year. This special day a reminder about the power of photography to tell stories about the natural world, as well as to tend to Earth, our common home. As you well know, photographs are a way to stay connected with one another and the natural world. The North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) launched Nature Photography Day in 2006, and over the years, people throughout the world have observed it.
NANPA encourages people everywhere to use a camera to explore the natural world that is close to them. Settings such as a backyard, garden, and other places can be sources of discovery and inspiration—and they can be steps away.
