Fujairah E-government announce winners of the Institutional Excellence Awards
The e-Government Department of the Government of Fujairah has revealed the recipients of the Internal Institutional Excellence Awards for the year 2023, recognizing outstanding performance among the department’s employees. The aim of these awards is to foster a culture of individual and collective excellence, acknowledge accomplishments across various categories, fortify the institutional framework, and elevate competitiveness and leadership across different sectors.
Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director of the Fujairah e-Government Department, emphasized that the department is committed to upholding a culture of excellence by adhering to international standards of performance and sustainability. This commitment is demonstrated by adopting globally distinguished practices that align with the vision of the Fujairah e-Government. The establishment of the Excellence Award was initiated under the Ministry of Interior of the Fujairah e-Government, driven by the department’s dedication to solidify its strategic objectives and bolster its leading role in promoting excellence while nurturing innovative concepts. The award serves as a platform to recognize competencies, honor achievers, and propagate a culture of excellence amongst the workforce. This initiative offers tangible support to hardworking individuals and acknowledges outstanding contributions, thereby inspiring further accomplishments and success.
The department orchestrated informative workshops to orient employees, providing an in-depth overview of the key attributes of the Internal Excellence Award. These workshops underlined the award’s objectives, categories, and criteria, exemplifying the department’s commitment to acquaint its staff with the principles of institutional excellence, the prerequisites thereof, and the specific benchmarks that underpin the Fujairah e-Government Internal Excellence Award.
This year, the accolades were bestowed upon 6 noteworthy individuals. In the supervisory realm, the Distinguished Medal of Excellence was awarded to 6 recipients. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shami secured the Distinguished Medal of Excellence as the finest administrative employee, while Asmaa Abdullah Al-Kaabi and Yousef Hamdan Al-Kaabi garnered the Distinction Medal for their exceptional innovative contributions. Additionally, the Distinction Medal for the top employee in specialized roles was conferred upon Maryam Muhammad Al-Zahmi. The Youth Excellence Medal was presented to Tahani Yasser Al-Saadi, signifying her remarkable accomplishments, and the Medal of Excellence in Customer Service was presented to Abdulaziz Ali Al-Khuzaimi.
