Fujairah Charity Association receives BSI certificate

The Fujairah Charity Association has achieved a significant milestone that enhances its competitive position in the charitable sector within the UAE by receiving the ISO 37000:2021 governance specification certificate from the British Standards Institution (BSI). This accomplishment marks a pivotal step in the association’s commitment to implementing the highest international standards in corporate governance management systems. The ISO 37000:2021 certification underscores the organization’s dedication to trust, accountability, transparency, and fair practices in its operations.

The certification process involved comprehensive audits by a team of international experts and arbitrators from BSI, ensuring that the association’s practices align with the stringent requirements of the ISO 37000:2021 standard. The formal receipt of the certificate took place at the Fujairah Charity Association’s headquarters, with His Excellency Saeed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the Board of Directors, accepting the certificate from Mr. Vladimir Cherny, General Manager Commercial MEA at BSI, in the presence of key board members and executives.

His Excellency Saeed Al Raqbani expressed deep gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and to the Crown Prince of Fujairah for their continuous support of the association’s charitable and humanitarian endeavors. He also congratulated the association’s board members, executive management, and employees for this distinguished achievement, which reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to excellence and institutional development in alignment with the highest international standards.

This achievement is a testament to the fruitful efforts made by the Fujairah Charity Association to enhance its performance and further its mission in serving charitable development work.
