SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi has been recognised by the Guinness World Records as the World’s Largest Indoor Marine-Life Theme Park, a significant achievement announced by Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral, along with the park’s leadership team. This recognition arrives less than a year after the park, sprawling over 183,000 square meters across five levels, opened to the public.

Thomas Kaferle, General Manager of SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, expressed delight over the recognition, noting it as a reflection of their dedication to offering a top-notch entertainment experience. This accolade highlights their efforts in merging entertainment with educational initiatives, aiming to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of marine life among visitors of all ages.

SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, immerses guests in the mysteries of the ocean across eight unique realms, including the Abu Dhabi Ocean, One Ocean, MicroOcean, Endless Ocean, Tropical Ocean, Rocky Point, and the divided Polar Ocean realms of the Arctic and Antarctica. It stands as a beacon of animal welfare, adhering to international standards and boasting certification from Global Humane, marking it as the region’s premier facility recognized for its commitment to animal care.

The park features an array of aquatic species, over 15 interactive experiences and rides, and numerous animal encounters and presentations designed to educate guests through firsthand experiences with marine life. In addition, the park offers over 20 live performances and more than 10 intimate animal interactions, ensuring entertainment for every visitor. Home to one of the world’s largest multi-species marine life aquariums, SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi also hosts 17 diverse dining options, from buffet and fine dining to quick snacks, and 13 shopping outlets offering memorable souvenirs like penguin plushies or unique photo opportunities.
