Onam Festival, 30 August 2022

Onam is a Hindu festival celebrated by the people of Kerala. It is the most popular festival in the state and is celebrated each year in August and September, and is also a major harvest festival. Onam marks the first month of the Malayalam calendar known as Chingam.
Onam 2022 will begin on Tuesday, 30 August and ends on Thursday, 8 September.

Onam is an annual harvest as well as trade festival celebrated in the Indian state of Kerala. A major annual event for Keralites, it is the official festival of the state and includes a spectrum of cultural events. Drawing from Hindu mythology, Onam commemorates King Mahabali.
