Fujairah Roundabout Art: Dallah (Arabic Coffee Pot)

The streets of Fujairah are a web connecting many a roundabout. Several of the roundabouts have art depicting traditional symbols.

The Arabic Coffee Pot also has a water feature. Water pours out filling the same cup to overflowing.

The roundabout is named after Arabic coffee pot called dallah, which is used to brew and serve Gahwa.

The ingrained drink in any social gathering or celebration must be the Arabic coffee.

Locally, it is called Gahwa, served in midget cups for easy hold and quick drink while is hot. It is made of coarsely grounded Arabic coffee beans mixed with grounded cardamon, cloves, and saffron.

The Arabic coffee is one of prominent traditions in the UAE.
