Fujairah’s population up to 292,358 in 2020

The population of Fujairah stood at 292,358 last year, as stated by the Fujairah Statistics Centre.

As stated by the centre’s statistical yearbook for 2020, the number of births reached 3279, marriages 859, divorces 159, and 309 deaths.

The statistics indicated the total number of public and private schools at 68 with 43,594 students, while the number of universities and higher colleges are 8 in total.

The statistics indicates a total number of 54 dams in the Emirate of Fujairah.
