2019 Dubai Arbitration Week kicks off with EMAC’s breakfast seminar

Following a successful participation at this year’s ADIPEC, EMAC opened the Dubai Arbitration Week 2019 with Dr. Gordon Blanke’s session, who shared insight on institutional arbitration; arbitration onshore v. offshore; the UAE’s year old federal arbitration law and everything one needs to know about law enforcement. Gordon Blanke is an independent arbitrator and Founding Partner of Blanke Arbitration LLC with extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution in the UAE.

The week long arbitration week is aimed to provide various panel discussions and networking sessions, insightful knowledge and tips for ensuring effective application of arbitration and mediation in the United Arab Emirates. Discussions around the proliferation of technology in international arbitration, as well as showcasing trends in managing and controlling the arbitral process in the Middle East has been included in these discussions.

EMAC will close off its breakfast series for the year in December 2019, focusing on the role that ship suppliers play in maritime.
