Al Ain Zoo Turns Family Dining into a Wildlife Adventure
From close-up giraffe encounters at breakfast to dining with lions as they roam just meters away, Al Ain Zoo offers two extraordinary ways to make a family weekend one to remember.
Al Ain Zoo, one of the Middle East’s oldest and largest wildlife destinations, is inviting families to trade the usual dining experience for something truly extraordinary at the Zoo, where two immersive wildlife encounters allow them to dine close to some of the world’s most majestic animals.
Enjoy a Saturday morning breakfast with the Giraffes
Every Saturday from 9:00am to 10:30am, families can enjoy a hearty breakfast from the Giraffe Feeding Balcony, where the morning comes with some unexpected and very tall guests. As the giraffes wander over for breakfast of their own, guests can feed them with food specifically provided by the Zoo. With their long necks stretching towards the balcony, the experience makes for magical family moments and memorable photographs.
Date and Time: Every Saturday from 9:00am to 10:30am

Make your Saturday evening a little wilder with a dinner with Lions
Alternatively, as the sun begins to set, another experience arises. ‘Dinner with Lions’ invites families to enjoy an evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild, with a close-up view of Al Ain Zoo’s majestic lions. Taking place every Saturday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, the experience begins with a private guided safari in an SUV, before guests settle in for a three-course dinner with the lions as the backdrop. To complete the evening, guests also receive a retail souvenir to take home, ensuring the memories continue long after dinner is over.
Date and Time: Every Saturday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm
Price: AED 3,300 for a group of six, with up to four additional guests able to join at AED 550 per guest

With children of all ages welcome, both experiences offer families the chance to step beyond the ordinary and experience wildlife in a way they are unlikely to forget. Whether it is starting the morning nose-to-nose with a giraffe or watching lions in their habitat as dinner is served, Al Ain Zoo transforms a family meal into an adventure to remember.
