Fujairah International Airport launches humanitarian charter flights with SalamAir

Fujairah International Airport has partnered with SalamAir to operate a series of humanitarian charter flights aimed at assisting travellers wishing to return to their home countries amid current regional travel challenges.
The special charter services operated via Muscat connecting Fujairah with five major international destinations: Calicut, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Istanbul and Karachi.
Passengers are able to book seats directly through SalamAir’s official website or via authorised travel agents.
According to Fujairah International Airport, the initiative reflects the airport’s ongoing commitment to supporting humanitarian travel needs and ensuring safe and reliable transport during periods of disruption to regional travel networks.
The airport worked closely with airline partners, ground handling teams and relevant authorities to ensure smooth operations and provide high levels of care for passengers throughout the repatriation process.
Officials also confirmed that the airport continues to coordinate with partners and stakeholders to monitor evolving travel requirements and respond quickly to developments.
These efforts reinforce Fujairah International Airport’s role as a reliable and resilient aviation hub in the United Arab Emirates, capable of supporting humanitarian travel and maintaining operational flexibility during challenging periods for regional travel.
