Dubai Fountain Returns October 1st With Groundbreaking Upgrades

After a five-month hiatus, the Dubai Fountain is set to make its grand return as the heart of Downtown Dubai. Starting October 1st, the world’s largest choreographed fountain system will once again delight visitors with its breathtaking blend of water, light, and music.
The much-anticipated reopening has captured widespread attention, attracting both local residents and international tourists. Many have followed updates on social media and even planned their Dubai trips to coincide with this special moment, highlighting the fountain’s global significance and enduring charm. As excitement builds, families, travelers, and fountain enthusiasts are preparing to gather for the first dazzling shows, which promise to create unforgettable memories.
Phase One of the fountain’s renovation has been completed ahead of schedule, focusing on key maintenance works including tiling, water insulation, and painting to ensure the landmark retains its signature beauty and operational excellence. Emaar has announced that Phase Two will be completed in the second quarter of 2026, introducing innovative new features that will elevate the Dubai Fountain experience. This next stage aims to combine creativity and technology, offering audiences fresh surprises and moments of wonder.
With the reopening, regular show schedules will resume. Afternoon performances will run daily at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm, with Friday shows at 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. Evening shows will take place every 30 minutes from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fountain’s iconic choreography.
