Pink Caravan 2026 to Bring Free Breast Cancer Screenings Across UAE
The Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) will launch the 2026 Pink Caravan campaign on October 1, marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a nationwide programme of free screenings, health awareness activities and community events.
The month-long campaign aims to make breast health services more accessible while promoting the importance of regular screening and early detection. Last year’s campaign provided more than 19,000 free screenings to 17,458 women and 2,244 men.
Nine fixed Pink Caravan clinics will operate throughout October at locations across the UAE, including Mushrif Mall in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Mall, City Walk in Dubai, Al Majaz Waterfront and Al Dhaid Mall in Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain Mall, Ras Al Khaimah Mall and Lulu Mall in Fujairah.
Mobile clinics will also visit residential communities, shopping and entertainment destinations, universities and government and private-sector workplaces. Services will include free clinical breast examinations and mammograms for eligible individuals.
Companies and educational institutions can also arrange dedicated health days and awareness sessions covering breast cancer symptoms, self-examination and the importance of regular screening.
Aisha Al Mulla, Director of the Friends of Cancer Patients, said early detection plays a vital role in improving breast cancer treatment outcomes. She stressed the importance of making screening services convenient and encouraging families and communities to support women in prioritising their health.
The Pink Caravan Community Event will return to Aljada in Sharjah from October 2 to 4 in partnership with Arada. The three-day event will combine health awareness with family activities, workshops and entertainment, while offering free clinical breast examinations and mammograms to women and men.
Crescent Petroleum is the main partner of the 2026 campaign, supported by a wide network of sponsors, including Arada, Inovoo Management, Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC), Sharjah Media City (Shams), Al Marwan Group and Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), among others.
Medical partners include Advance Care Oncology Centre, Zulekha Hospital, University Hospital Sharjah, NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah and Canadian Specialist Hospital, which will support referrals for individuals requiring further examinations.
The Pink Caravan has called on individuals, families, businesses and institutions across the UAE to support the campaign, participate in awareness activities and encourage their communities to make early detection a priority.
