Dibba Indian Welfare Association Lights Up Summer with a Memorable Kids’ Camp

The Dibba Indian Welfare Association (DIWA) brought smiles to 170 young faces on July 10, 2026, with a vibrant Kids Summer Camp held at LuLu Mall, Dibba from 4 pm to 10 pm. The event was thoughtfully designed to entertain children during their summer break while fostering a strong sense of togetherness and friendship among them.

The evening was packed with energy and colour, featuring Zumba sessions, yoga activities, face painting, drawing competitions, a talent show, and a host of fun-filled games. Each activity was crafted to bring out the creativity, confidence, and joy of every child who participated, and the laughter and excitement on their faces spoke volumes about the event’s success.

The Zumba and yoga sessions opened the evening on a high note, with instructors leading the children through upbeat routines that had the whole hall moving in rhythm. Nearby, the face painting and drawing corners turned into a riot of colour, as young artists lined up eagerly to have butterflies, tigers and superheroes brushed onto their cheeks.

As the evening progressed, the talent show gave the more confident performers among the children a stage of their own, with songs, dances and short skits drawing warm applause from parents and volunteers alike. This event once again stands as a testament to DIWA’s unwavering commitment to the community, proving that togetherness, culture, and care for the next generation remain at the heart of everything the association does.

One of the standout highlights of the evening was seeing the children arrive proudly wearing the jerseys of their favourite teams and players, turning the venue into a colourful sea of young sports enthusiasts. The sight added a unique charm to the celebration and became a talking point among parents and organizers alike.

At the end of the event, every child was honoured with a Certificate of Participation, recognizing their enthusiasm and involvement— a small token that left a lasting impression on the young participants, many of whom were seen proudly showing them off to their parents on the way out.

With such heartwarming initiatives, the Dibba Indian Welfare Association continues to strengthen the bonds within the community, one smile at a time.
