Fujairah Martial Arts Club Clinches Three Medals at Arab Judo Championship in Alexandria

Fujairah Martial Arts Club delivered a stellar performance at the Arab Clubs Judo Championship, wrapping up the competition with an impressive haul of three medals.
The highlight came from Abdulrahman Jayik, who secured a silver medal in the under-55 kg category. Jayik powered through the early rounds with dominant victories, defeating opponents from Egypt’s Epon Academy, the Egyptian National Project for Juniors, and Kuwait Club — all by ippon (full point).
In a tense final against a competitor from Egypt’s Zamalek Club, Jayik battled into the “golden score” period before narrowly missing out on gold by a quarter point.
The club’s medal tally was boosted by outstanding performances from Ghalia Khamis Al Matrooshi and Nouf Saeed Al Maqdami. Ghalia took bronze in the +78 kg division, while Nouf earned bronze in the -44 kg category.
The results reflect Fujairah Martial Arts Club’s growing reputation on the regional stage and underscore the depth of talent within its judo squad.
