Fujairah Continues to Forge Champions as Al-Suraidi Claims Bronze at Asian Karate Championship

Fujairah Martial Arts Club standout Rashid Al-Suraidi excelled with the UAE national karate team, capturing the bronze medal at the 23rd Asian Junior and Youth (U-21) Championship held in Shaoguan, China, with the participation of some of Asia’s strongest teams.
This milestone reinforces the Fujairah Martial Arts Club’s leading role in nurturing champions and securing continental success, reflecting the wise leadership’s vision to elevate Emirati sports and enhance its presence on the international stage.
The club’s family praised the unwavering support of the UAE Karate Federation, under the leadership of Major General Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razooqi, for its commitment to providing athletes with the ideal environment to perform at their best. They also commended the tireless efforts of the national team delegation in China, whose dedication fostered a positive atmosphere that paved the way for this proud achievement.
Al-Suraidi’s bronze marks the second Asian medal for the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, following Majida Al-Ketbi’s historic bronze in taekwondo, which was also the first-ever Asian medal for Emirati women in the sport.
The club’s management emphasized to Al Rai that these accomplishments represent another step in its journey of excellence, reaffirming its commitment to preparing future champions capable of delivering further continental and global triumphs.
