EASH announces program for 2023-2024 season

The Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EASH) has announced its program for Arabian Horse Shows and Auctions in the UAE for the 2023-2024 season. The season will feature 13 championships, 6 of which are international championships. There will also be horse auctions held at various locations, including Sharjah, Ajman, and Dubai Stud.

The season will kick off on October 20th, 2023, with the Sharjah International Arabian Horse Championship for the Straight Egyptian. This will be followed by the Sharjah Arabian Horse Festival for locally bred horses from November 2nd-5th, 2023. Other championships in November include the Emirates National Championship and the EAHS National Championship.

In December, the shows will move to the Eastern region, specifically the city of Kalba. The Sharjah – Kalba Arabian Horse Festival is scheduled to take place from December 1st-3rd, along with the Fujairah International Championship from December 14th-16th 2023.

The season will also see the launch of the Third Edition of the Arab Breeders Championship and the Emirates Arabian Horse Breeders Championship.

In January 2024, the Ajman Championship will take place, followed by the fourth edition of the Al Dhafra Arabian Horse Championship Private Studs. The Alshiraa’a International Arabian Horse Championship is scheduled for January 28th-31st, 2024. The Abu Dhabi International Horse Show will be held from February 22nd-25th, 2024, making it the sole Arabian Horse Show during February. The season will conclude with the Sharjah International Arabian Horse Festival from March 1st-3rd, 2024.

The EASH has also allocated specific dates for national judging and disciplinary committee courses. These courses will be held from November 17th-19th and November 24th-26th, 2023. Judge Workshops are scheduled for February 21st, 2024.

These learning and training opportunities are part of the EASH’s continuous efforts to develop Emirati capabilities and refine their skills in all Arabian Horse Shows. Additionally, the Society has dedicated two championships this season to support local owners and breeders.

The EASH is committed to ensuring the smooth scheduling of championships throughout the season to avoid conflicting dates with other international championships in the Gulf and Middle East regions. The Society is also committed to providing high-quality educational and training opportunities for UAE nationals.
