The festival is held in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs and Chairman of the Emirates Council for Balanced Development. It reflects his strategic vision to strengthen national identity and preserve cultural, heritage, and environmental legacies, while simultaneously supporting economic and tourism development in rural areas. “Between the Palm Trees of Qidfa” features a wide range of activities, including farm trails and guided tours, an art exhibition, nature-inspired workshops, family-friendly activities, and dedicated children’s play areas. Visitors can immerse themselves in scenic natural surroundings that stimulate the senses, celebrating the beauty, culture, and identity of the local community in an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
Festival activities will take place daily for two weeks, from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm, allowing maximum participation from families and visitors. The events are designed to meet the aspirations of all age groups within a warm social and heritage setting.
