The Mleiha Visitor Centre located in the Central Region of the emirate is home to many of the adventure sites and historical places to visit in Sharjah. The centre offers also offers guided tours of important archaeological sites.
Start with a guided tour of the Umm an-Nar tomb, a circular Bronze Era grave, where you can delve into the history of ancient Bedouin civilisation much before modern Emirati culture. Then move onto Fossil Rock, a huge rock formation filled with marine fossils.
