Fujairah Aviation Academy welcomes Crown Prince
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, emphasized the importance of the aviation sector as a key supporter of the developmental pillars undergoing in the Emirate of Fujairah at all levels during a visit to Fujairah Aviation Academy on November 22nd. He highlighted its contribution to enhancing the economic sector and the comprehensive development process in the country.
This statement came during his visit to the departments of the new Fujairah International Airport building and the Fujairah Aviation Academy. The visit was attended by Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Chairman of the Department of Industry and Economy in Fujairah, and Sheikh Sultan bin Saleh Al Sharqi.
His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, pointed out the significant progress in vital sectors in Fujairah, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, a member of the Supreme Council and the ruler of Fujairah. He praised the support and follow-up by His Highness to the requirements of economic growth in all areas, especially in the aviation sector. This includes providing all the necessary resources to enhance its role as a major contributor to the country’s economy and overall development.
During the visit, His Highness inspected the departments and classrooms of the Fujairah Aviation Academy, receiving a detailed explanation of its operations and the utilization of the latest technologies in training and educating its affiliates. He also learned about the training programs for air traffic control systems in collaboration with the Fujairah Air Navigation Services Center. Additionally, he was briefed on the pilot training and aircraft maintenance engineering programs, conducted in accordance with the European Aviation Safety Agency standards and the General Civil Aviation Authority in the country.
His Highness praised the efforts of the academy in developing the training curriculum and adopting advanced educational tools. These efforts contribute to improving the performance and personal and professional capabilities of the students, empowering them with the best experiences and competencies in the aviation sector.
His Highness was accompanied during the visit by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, the Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, His Excellency Salem Al Zahmi, the Advisor to the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Captain Ismail Al Balushi, the Director of Fujairah International Airport, and Captain Yaqoob Al Nuaimi, the Deputy Director General of Fujairah Aviation Academy.
