
Fujairah Martial Arts Club continues to dominate championship rankings, consistently achieving new milestones. Renowned for claiming top positions and awards for excellence, the club has never allowed any trophies of distinction to leave its stronghold. In line with this tradition, Fujairah Martial Arts Club participated in five championships over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, April 26th–27th, covering Judo, Taekwondo, Fencing, Swimming, and Karate. These tournaments were marked by achievements worth highlighting in the week’s summary:
Swimming – UAE Junior Swimming Cup Champion
In an outstanding performance, Fujairah Martial Arts Club swimmers broke several records and claimed all age group trophies. The club was crowned champion of the UAE Junior Swimming Cup, held in Abu Dhabi on April 26th–27th. They won a total of 116 medals:
66 Gold – 25 Silver – 25 Bronze
Notably, Ali Abdullah Al Sharif set a new record in the 200m breaststroke (ages 13–14), breaking a record that had stood since 2005:
Previous record (2005): 2:40.90. New record (2025): 2:39.62
He received trophies for Best Swimmer and Best Record in the 13–14 age group.
Meanwhile, Hamad Mohammed Al Ali broke the 200m backstroke record (ages 15–16):

He won the Best Swimmer trophy for the 15–16 age group.
Judo – Japanese Ambassador’s Cup Champion
Fujairah Martial Arts Club stole the spotlight and was crowned champion of the Japanese Ambassador’s Cup for Judo, held at the Union Hall in Baniyas on Saturday, April 26th.
Demonstrating clear superiority, five of the club’s eight participants qualified for the finals, earning:
2 Gold – 3 Silver – 5 Bronze
Beyond winning the championship, the club secured the Overall Excellence Shield for the third consecutive season, collecting 1,010 points, a comfortable lead over its closest competitors before the season’s end.
Taekwondo – UAE Elite Championship
The club’s athletes excelled at the UAE Elite Taekwondo Championship, held April 26th–27th, 2025, at the Youth Hall in Ajman.
The club achieved the following results:
1st place overall – Female category
2nd place overall – Male category
1st place – Youth
3rd place – Juniors
3rd place – Men
The team collected a total of 26 medals.
Karate – UAE Karate Stars Cup
The Fujairah team also competed in the UAE Karate Stars Cup in Sharjah, winning 17 medals, including:

Fencing – UAE Fencing Federation Cup
At the UAE Fencing Federation Cup, held April 26th–27th at Al Mizhar Sports Hall in Dubai, Fujairah’s athletes delivered remarkable performances in both individual and team events.
In the individual category, the team won 13 medals:
4 Gold – 3 Silver – 6 Bronze
In the female sabre team event, they secured 3rd place.
