UAE President’s Cup final live at VOX Cinemas
The UAE Football Association (UAEFA) and Majid Al Futtaim have signed a partnership agreement, under which Friday’s final match of the UAE President’s Cup, ‘Al Wahda vs. Sharjah’, will be broadcast live on VOX Cinemas screens across four key locations in the UAE.
The signing ceremony took place at VOX Cinemas Mirdif City Centre, in the presence of Mohammed Abdullah Hazzam Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the UAEFA, and a number of representatives from both sides.
VOX Cinemas is set to screen the long-anticipated UAE President’s Cup final match between Al Wahda and Sharjah across the UAE’s largest malls, Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, Mirdif City Centre in Dubai, City Centre Al Zahia in Sharjah, and City Centre Fujairah. Tickets are available online through Platinum List and UAEFA’s official social media accounts.
Mohammed Abdullah Hazzam Al Dhaheri General Secretary of the UAE Football Association said: “live show of the President’s Cup Final in cinemas is a significant step to enhance the relationship of football with society, and we are happy with this step because it builds a bridge between the stadiums and the cinemas.

Mohammad Abdullah Hazzam Al Dhaheri praised the role Majid Al-Futtaim Group is playing in society, stressing that this partnership is an important step, because it puts the President’s Cup final on the big screens in front of the family, pointing out that the cinema will be the new location for the fans to support their players and celebrate the victory.
Bin Hazzam appreciated Majid Al-Futtaim Group’s interest in the President’s Cup final, which is characterized by its historical importance and has a high position among the Emirati community and residents in the country, noting that this step makes the final of the precious cup widespread, and establishes a strong base for a strong relationship between local cinema and football.
