Fujairah has achieved a remarkable cultural milestone after its innovative Musical Street was officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s longest musical street. The achievement highlights the emirate’s growing commitment to creativity, public art, and enriching community life through unique cultural initiatives.
Stretching 750 metres along Sheikh Khalifa Street at the entrance to Fujairah City, near Fujairah Court, the Musical Street project was developed by the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy. Designed to bring music into everyday life, the initiative transforms a regular roadway into an interactive artistic experience, blending creativity with the urban landscape.
The Guinness World Records certificate was presented during a meeting at the Emiri Court, where His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received the official recognition from Ali Obaid Al Hafiti, Director-General of the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy, alongside members of the academy’s team.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince highlighted the important role that arts and music play in enhancing quality of life and fostering community well-being. He emphasized how creative projects in public spaces can inspire people, encourage cultural engagement, and create meaningful experiences for residents and visitors alike.

These efforts continue to strengthen Fujairah’s position as a leading centre for arts, culture, and creativity.
The Crown Prince praised the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy for its dedication and contributions to the emirate’s cultural development, noting the academy’s role in enriching the local artistic landscape through forward-thinking projects.
In turn, the academy’s team expressed their appreciation for the Crown Prince’s ongoing support, which has helped bring a range of inspiring artistic initiatives to life and encouraged greater community participation in the arts.
