Historic Treble for Fujairah Martial Arts Club in Taekwondo Excellence Shields 2024–2025
In an exceptional achievement that reaffirms its leadership in the UAE taekwondo arena, the Fujairah Martial Arts Club has clinched three of the most prestigious general excellence shields for the 2024–2025 season, continuing its winning streak for the seventh consecutive year.
This season, the UAE Taekwondo Federation introduced new categories for the Excellence Shield, including the General Excellence Shield for Males, the General Excellence Shield for Females, and the Overall General Excellence Shield. The Fujairah Martial Arts Club managed to secure all of them, becoming the first Emirati club in history to achieve first place across all categories in a single season — a historic feat that reflects the scale of dedication and professionalism within the club.
Distinguished Official Attendance
The award ceremony for the champions was graced by the presence of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the UAE Taekwondo Federation; H.E. Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council; H.E. Khalid Issa Al-Midfa, President of Sharjah Sports Club; and H.E. Suleiman Al-Hajri, President of Sharjah Individual Games Club. Also in attendance were a number of sports club presidents and prominent sports figures, giving the occasion an official celebratory atmosphere that emphasized the importance of this achievement on the national sports scene.

Mr. Nader Abu Al-Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, expressed his pride in the accomplishment, affirming that this excellence reflects the sustainability the club has worked to establish since its founding. It is also a practical embodiment of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah and President of the Club, to position Fujairah as a leading platform for sports and excellence at the national and regional levels.
