Fujairah Martial Arts Club’s triathlon team dominance over the UAE Triathlon League in the 2025–2026 season

Fujairah Martial Arts Club’s triathlon team has asserted complete dominance over the UAE Triathlon League in the 2025–2026 season, sealing the campaign by lifting the Overall Excellence Shield for the second year in a row. The triumph reinforces the club’s successful sporting project and its sustained ability to produce champions.

The historic title capped a long, eventful season that unfolded across six major stops featuring the country’s strongest clubs. Fujairah’s athletes swept the league’s key categories—most notably the Sprint and Super Sprint—amassing the highest haul of medals and cumulative points. They also reached the podium in the Olympic and Junior divisions, cementing a thoroughly deserved first place in the overall standings.

The club’s headquarters hosted the handover ceremony for the Overall Excellence Shield. A delegation from the UAE Triathlon Federation, led by Vice President Ahmed Al Shamsi and Technical Committee Chairman Mohsen Hassan Al Ali, presented the shield to Captain Ahmed Eid. The event was attended by Fujairah Martial Arts Club Director Nader Abu Shawish, along with the coaching and administrative staff and a distinguished group of triathlon athletes.

Abu Shawish emphasized that staying on top is far more challenging than getting there. Securing the overall shield for a second consecutive season, he said, proves last year’s success was no coincidence but the product of an integrated sports governance strategy and a sustainable, institutional approach—backed by the direct support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Club President.

He added that this season’s professional standards and unprecedented records set by the club’s athletes raise the bar for what comes next. The ambition extends beyond local supremacy: supported by advanced training programs, the club is steadfastly developing future champions to represent the UAE at regional, international, and Olympic levels. Abu Shawish expressed sincere appreciation to the UAE Triathlon Federation for its organizational efforts, and to the club’s technical and administrative teams and the athletes themselves, whose excellence made the achievement possible.
