What is the initiative Peak for Peace?
It is an initiative to climb the highest peaks of the world to spread the message of tolerance and love from the country of peace; the United Arab Emirates, to the entire world. The initiative is supported by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and will be carried out by the adventurer Saeed Khamis Al Maamari.
What is the time plan for the initiative?
The adventurer will need approximately 5 years to complete the 246 countries. The initiative’s success will also depend on weather conditions, seasons and global status.
Who is carrying out the initiative?
Saeed Khamis Al Memari is an Emirati adventurer with a passion for climbing mountains and achieving the impossible. Al Memari is the first Emirati to climb the world’s highest peaks distributed in 7 continents and the North and South Poles. He is a dedicated volunteer and has contributed in a lot of community initiatives in cooperation with a number of entities and institutions. Al Memari established “Emirates Mountain Hobbies Association”. He is the director of Fujairah Adventures Centre; the first government centre in the UAE dedicated for adventures activities.

Objectives
- Spreading the message of peace from the UAE to the entire world.
- Adding the UAE to the list of countries that made history in climbing and reaching the world’s highest peaks.
- Issuing the Book of Peace that includes peace messages from world leaders and the experience of carrying out this initiative in preparation for participation in the Nobel Peace Prize.
- Establish the peak for peace Fund to support initiatives that serve peace.
